A sweet little creature that I found several months ago deeply scared, hidden in a thorny bush. I took her in and now she is a dear companion.

new friends with environmental sensitivities

This is one of the rewards I received, with my partners, for conducting an online seminar related to web2.0 tools in environmental education. The appraising comments of the participants were the greatest reward for our effort to make the seminar meaningful, valuable and constructive.
Add to that, sweet Anastasia gave us a crocus plant each, with special plant pot, reminder of the seminar's topic.

Κυριακή βράδυ πέθανε ο μπαρμα-Σταύρος. Κοιμήθηκε ήσυχα ήσυχα. Δε δυσκόλεψε κανέναν. Άραγε χάρηκε τα γεράματά του; Εμείς προλάβαμε να τον χαρούμε;

The first snow

...and apparently the last for this winter.
A quiet peaceful night, I looked outside! Unexpected, silent snowflakes kept dancing around until midnight.

Viola!

Nature is powerful, yet, one can always lent a helping hand!
This, less than 5cm, plant just said hello to the world and I am watering it every evening, cause the concrete cannot hold moisture during the day.

It's been a while... Nature in winter time proves its power through pieces that humans overlook; deliberately or from ignorance. Who can tell for sure?

It was lovely, once again! So, happy, once again!

As I opened my eyes, yesterday, a nurturing white smiled...

I went out the road and it was soft and friendly...
... but today, it is so so cold!!! and most of the white is gone. Nice, as long as it lasted.
